The client handler wanted to charge me for the service that I had not received. The manager was reasonable and didn't charge me.

Had to wait around a bit initially to be seen, wasnt clear who was dealing with my case, had to chase to check it was finished, just felt I was causing them hassle not a valued customer, extra work to look into was seen as a hassle
I sat and waited for the car to be serviced, they told me an approx time it would take and it was done on time without fuss, a little expensive for oil and filter change, Mercedes had a monthly service plan, not sure if BMW have, (would be helpful).
There was a lot of confusion around how long you wanted the car, initially, it was a wait in session which then changed to an all-day appointment due to my car requiring a re-program. On the day, you weren't expecting it until the booked slot.
I was advised my vehicle was ready for collection however, after driving 30 minutes (and just around the corner from the garage) I was advised it was not, I had to return home and wasted an hours time.
They are helpful, professional and pleasant. They also answer the queries, if any, in a professional way. They are also very close to my house, about 3 miles. They try to meet the expectations of customers.
I brought my car in to fix an issue with the radio making a noise and being too loud at speed. I was told it had been fixed and the new part fitted. It has not been fixed and is still the same...
it was Ok, although I did expect it to be a bit better, given the BMW prestige status
I was given the wrong site to bring my car and then on collection given the wrong car keys.

The car had 2 faults. The alarm kept going off in the sunshine and the boot had recently started leaking. I was on holiday and the garage collected my car from the drive , fixed both faults and left me a message to say all had been completed.
Long wait to pick up car due to staff shortages only hiccup
after 2 unsatisfactory visits they actually got it right this time. time will tell on future visits
A simple oil change was completed by 10.30, however I could not pick the car up until 4.30. This was inconvenient and happens often.

Solved the problem
There were some problems with parking when I arrived, but these were quickly sorted and the car was completed on time.
Car was done on time and had a good wash and vacuum
The actual repair was well executed with good liaison with technician.....however when I then tried to re-contact service to report small amount of damage it took four attempts to get any response

Kept informed at all times and car returned in immaculate condition.
It is very difficult to get through on the phone and when you do get through it is virtually impossible to speak to the person you are trying to get hold of. I have had to resort to emails on four occasions now, although I have only had one reply.
poor dealer problem root cause analysis (only use test equipment) meaning that I was asked to spend £500 then £2500 to replace parts that were not related to the problem.
Great service with all tasks completed
On this occasion the car was ready but this was not communicated to staff at reception nor to me so I had to wait an extra unnecessary time. I also wish operatives could return the driver's seat to the setting when the car arrives. Otherwise fine

The service man I booked the car in with in the morning was miserable and not particularly helpful, in fact bordered on rude. The one I picked it up from was really helpful and went out of his way to make sure everything was ok

All problems with boot opening were solved
The whole process from start to finish was very easy. From booking to dropping off and picking up. Everything was explained clearly and the car was returned ahead of time after having been washed and vacuumed. I couldn't have asked for more.
While the sales person (Rob)and manager (John) were courteous, polite and professional, my actual experience in purchasing what I believed to be a high value vehicle has been disappointing. Overall am not entirely happy with my experience.

Parking was non existent on arrival - I ended up in a stand off with a contractor in a mechanical hoist.
I was not offered a drink or water even though I said I was waiting on site for my car for the duration of the work

Car was planned to be in for a day, but was actually in for two days. Was phoned on the first day to tell me that it wouldn't be ready, but had to phone on second day to find the status of the car. Receptionists otherwise v good. Problems were solved
Pleasant and professional service. Liked the fact the actual engineer working on my car came to speak to me to find out what the problem was and talked me through likely and actual outcome. Great to be kept informed.
This is the first time I have used their pickup service and found it very easy. Staff were friendly and let me know what was happening at all stages. The car was noticeably smoother after the service!
Kept waiting and their update about my car and its collection was not accurate
Staff are great but the parking is terrible, I was stuck in a traffic jam in the car park for 10 minutes. Very worried about leaving my car in the car park as it is so tight. Luckily everything was fine.

Car not ready when advised , no phone call , had to chase twice
A 40 minute wait to book in. On collection the car had not been given its promised mini valet. After a 50 minute wait it appeared and had only been sprayed with water and not even chamoised off.
Waited 30 mins to drop off car, courtesy car was very dirty inside and had 1 litre of fuel in. Rang to find out if car was ready, told they would call back -never did. Waiting 45 mins to take car, was barely acknowledged when I arrived. Very chaotic
The service reception is a little dated
Took longer than previously agreed (additional 90 mins). Car was not valeted inside as has been the case on previous services. Extremely challenging car park to manoeuvre out of, with more cars than it could accommodate using the site.
One of the staff was very rude but manager was very nice
Upon arrival, I had to wait in the seating area for 20 minutes just to drop my keys off. When I returned to pick my car up in the evening, I had to wait 40 minutes (by far the longest amount of time I have ever spent in a car dealership).

Everything has gone to schedule
The car arrived at the end of the day and I had the choice to get or wait for them to do the final clean and care of the car. I choose to collect the car, sales team made sure that I get back to them a couple of days later to have all care done.
Everyone at BMW Wilmslow was friendly and happy to help, it was a relaxing experience. Mark was very friendly and upfront from the start and was a pleasure to deal with.
